This collection of my wins is posted to show off some of my finest victories. After all what is the point of winning if you don't get to brag about it. I acknowledge that many of my games were won by luck, and most of the people I beat could easily beat me (or already have). However, that's just too bad... About Me: I am long time TAO player who originated on Great Lakes server in about December, 2004. And I was one the first (relatively) people on legends forums. I prefer to play freestyle, but will occasionally turtle. My Accounts: Tarik Keyhand, Ashneir, God's Own Sling, Bad Neighbor Tarik Keyhand and Ashneir are original names created by me to have a sort of fantasy feel. God's Own Sling and Bad Neighbor are the names of two trebuchets used in the Crusades which I found to be intimidating. I believe I won with a nice poison of most of his units. I was using a variation of one of Override's grey rushes with a mud. It was opp sides so I was pretty worried. I assassin bombed one of his knights my 2nd move. My blocking was horrible though... plus a misclick. At the end it was my frost vs his knight and somehow I won. I had a turtle in by accident and amazingly Bobcat's one side rush was on the opposite side... If I hadn't played Spit in a turtle game earlier I probably would have been crushed. Knowing he's been calling himself the anti-rush king I put in balanced form with a stone golem that I actually use as an anti-rush. He's using a centered form. He takes his scout and hits my cleric, then gets a side block. Then he sacrifices his scout for my cleric. I build up an attack and kill his frost and was about to kill his cleric. Then he says I'm a terrible player and should have beat him by more. I had his two BRs retreated to the back in the first few turns. Than his mud had to retreat, and then his GA. Now thats how you anti-rush.^^ After he healed up, he started to attack again. I brought a counter attack and both our clerics died. I killed his frost and pwned it up. Before the game he told me to "bring it"... well... he can consider it "brought". I was signed up (against my will) for FPS freestyle games. For the first match I was very unsure of what to expect. I used a rather basic one scout one-sided rush. The game was opp side and I was feeling things weren't going to go to well. But luckily, I got some major blocks, and also some more blocks and pulled out a victory. For the second game I decided to put in a two scout defensive turtle. I was rather confident elimination wouldn't be using a rush, and luckily this was also an opp side game. I stoned up and basically killed his mud and scouts, and then started to use my frost to get the win. Good deal... He wasn't too happy when I got a front shot on his scout on the end to put the game in the bag, but seriously, I thought I had the advantage even if it blocked. Even though gamlet is grey it was a very important battle for me. He mentioned something about me being on their hitlist, but I never learned if that was true. The game started out slow, but then I took my stoned units and went after his frosts. Soon my armored people just took over... A very big win for me. I thought Cold' had the game locked up but he made a dumb move with his frost or perhaps a misclick and I was able to win. As you can see he accused me of being a... *ahem* "LUCKY PUNK ASS", but amazingly this was one game I don't think I had much luck, except for maybe hitting his scout from the side (thats really rare). This is my second win over him. My first was one of the first gold vs gold games I ever played but I didn't know how to take s/ss back then. I had a single gold anti-rush and Satori was using a double gold anti-rush/turtle with two frosts. Since he stoned, I knew defense wouldn't work so I was forced to attack. Somehow I was able to force my knights through to the enemy cleric, holding the frosts off with my scout. Luckily my turtle form had a solid advantage in this opp side game. I killed most of his ranged units and was going to freeze with my frost to victory when he left. This was basically the first time I freestyled after the rule change. I got on at midnight and was challenged by T H C for a Legends Grand League. Everyone in the lobby was wishing T H C good luck which ticked me off, but hey, he needed it. He ended up d/cing but I clearly had advantage. Things were looking bad for me early, but the.one made some rather bad moves. I was worried I was playing too offensively at first, and the.one got his frost in action. I had to bring my DT down kill it with my mud. Hey, old friend. You missed a sweet turtle tournament, which I'm sure you would have been able to enter. I'm in Judgewhat? now, so careful what you say.
