Alright well I know the first competition isn't finished yet but I thought I'd open this thread now, i think i will be able to run the two at the same time. My other one is almost finished anyway. Sign up as soon as you can, because no more than 16 players can join, otherwise the comp would take much too long. As it is I think it might take about 16 weeks, (four months aprox.) depending on how good you guys are at challenging each other. Please don't register if you won't be active, as bad inactivity will get you a ban from further competing in any more of my competitions'.
This is a bit ambitious but I'm pretty sure I can make it work.
Rules: You can play ANY style of game that you would like, as long as your opponent agrees. If you can't agree on a style you must default to droppless. You must announce which account you are using when you sign up. This is very important, because if you don't play with the account you said you would and you win, you opponent could deny your screen shot based on the fact that you could have beaten him/her weeks before the comp started. However if you use the account you said you would I can see with this rankings system what date you played and who won. Screen shots are still necessary though in case of DC and to show how many units you won by.
I thought I would make this competition a little different. Wouldn't it be nice to know exactly where you came in the tourney not just what round you were knocked out at? And don't you just hate it when you have a bad game and bang, you're out, no second chances? And what if you just happen to be inactive for ONE week during the whole comp and that gets you DQ'd. Well I think i have a solution. We're going to do this one with a points system rather than a knockout one. You play everyone in the comp then whoever has the highest points by the end, wins.
Victory: 3 points.
Draw: 1 point.
Defeat: 0 points.
You will have to provide screen shots, or have your opponent admit to how many units you won by. I will add up you unit wins after every game you play so if you're even with points with someone then you will be higher than them based on you unit win count.
You can challenge anyone you like at any time, and post the s/s of you wins/losses in this thread once the tourney has started. Because this tourney would take forever if you didn't get at least a game done a week I will make match ups and those people must play each other by the end of the week (they can play anyone else that they would like during that week as well). If they don't get their games done, I won't DQ (which would stuff up the whole system) I'll just give the win to the most active, and a draw if I can't decide.
Anyone is allowed to sign up.
1st place: Double Gold.
2nd place: Single Gold.
3rd place: +5 rep.
I will sign up for this one, because I don't want to miss out on the fun, and don't think that I'll get high enough in the comp to win prizes anyway. If I do, I can just give them to someone in more need than I!

Lol default to droppless because then ANYONE can play. Means you don't need a gold account and it will still be fair. But if you both have one then you can deciede to play a different style.
