question about last drop thread

I read the sticky for Last Drop, it says no comments other than what unit dropped. I don't want to start a new thread for this, as it would be redundant. I am trying to learn how to "predict" drop. I know it's random, but I'm starting to see some patterns show up, like on some days, they come faster than 4 hours. The approximate period between drops is 4 hrs, 48 mins. Usually drop is 4-5 hours after the last one, randomly to provide variance. but not always. My question is: is it O.K. to add the apporoximate "next drop" time to my posts. as in "Pyro - (@2:45) next is around 7-8 o'clock" ??

Eventually I should get the hang of it, I'm getting pretty good at logging on just before drop, unless it throws a curve ball.

Or...You could just let the next person use there 3rd grade math skills and add it up themselves. We all know it is approx 5 hrs between each drop because there are 5 drops a day and 24 hours in a day....24/5 = 4.8 Round up to 5 So this thread was pretty much pointless.....If you wanna post the next approx/guess drop time go ahead...but most of us know 5hrs in between give or take 30min here and there!

there was a time that it was 7 hours I think... I remember because it was 5 am and I stayed up all night hoping for a frost, then a barrier ward comes...

Lol...every once and a while they do throw the "Odd-ball" drop/wait combo at ya....I remember one time I won a drop and was about to sign off and Then won another drop within like 30min...It was awesome

well for one you cant predict a drop that why they call it RANDOM .

chad is right. You can't predict a drop pin point to the second, but you can make an average guess using the calculation he made. So a drop happens about every 5 hours or so.

truly predict, no. but I'm getting pretty good at it. It seems that a lot of the time you have " short days", where the drops come fast for a while, then they get slow, I'm trying to see if I can "get a feel" for patterns like these. Anyone else notice patterns in the drop schedule ? It's not too important to post this extra info, just a thought, and a courtesy.

Actually It's 4-7 hour's between drops.

Back in the day(when drop's came in order) On Very VERY rare circumstance's there would be 3-4 rare drop's in a row in a period of 9-12 hours.

the old system was predicted to the minute, so prediction is nothing new. the drops come at an average of 4.8 hours between them, but range from 3.5 to 7.4 or so hours between them. Its a generality to come 4.5 hours after the last one to find the next drop, but it cannot be certain that it will happen timely, as it could take 7 hours or 2 seconds.
