I find that the stone in front of cleric can easily rush the stone in the back/corner... especially in same side games. The original "old school" turtle has pretty much died.

Yeah, dsms for some people were still acceptable, even though the majority decided to stick removing them, but ambusher has been a strong no since the beginning. I used an ambusher turtle when people still didn't complain, and i know why he is not allowed.

These should be called the Omega Rules (Beta Rules, whatever) so as not to confuse with the Alpha rules that Monkus created.

I am pretty sure you don't have to, but it is a wise choice because there is not much else you can do in a turt game, besides advancing your knight or unstoned unit.

No, you do not have to.

Example: You could move a dragon up and damage a scout/threaten a cleric. Likewise with a knight.

Also, I agree that DSM should be allowed. Just restricted (such as the FPS rules with them).
