I recently got my second frost drop and am in need of some tips on how to most effectively use my set.

I use du's wardless double frost, seen below.


If anyone could give me strategies, i.e. same-side turts, opp. side turts, rushes, etc., it would be much appreciated.

Du's set works fine if you prearrange the games , but if you play against anybody or let others jump you, you would need a some other set against bombs, gold rushes, or gold turtles.

I've been using this set for a while , and i had no problems gettin 1560+ with it, except against some double gold turts....

Your form is no better then du's against Golld Rushes or Turtles and only slightly better against Bombs. There are many sets it's worse against too.

I'm not psychic. I can only interpret what you actually said. Which was that du's set wasn't worth using unless games were arranged because it was too weak against Bombs and Golds. Then you showed that set. What am I to assume other then that you're saying that set is good against Bombs and Golds?

On-Topic: You will never have a set that is never going to lose. Play around with the set until you find something that you feel comfortable playing, no matter what set your opponent has.

It dosnt matter what set you use. Someone can use du's set and someone can use the default and still whoop you. Its the player that makes a set great. So try it out yourself and make one yourself...

I'm flattered. Well, if you have some time, I suggest watching some gameplay footage. It is posted on the 1st post of the "How to play against dual frosts" thread in this forum (training section), or in my wins thread.

As for Luzbel's comment: Hmm, I don't seem to have too much trouble with bombs for some reason, it may have something to do with the way I play my form. It usually ends up with me sacrficing all my knights for their witches and pyros, and freezing stuff I can't kill before it recovers. Fugon is great for blocking cleric burn when knights are pinned an stuff.

In general however, I do not prearrange games anyways, in terms of setup, just account type. I can't see you LW giving you more advatage over gold turtle than my furgon, in fact, I would rather have furgon especially for blocking dragon and scout LOS, and containing Mud. LW is easily frozen and immobile. Sure, you can maintain a frosnt, but it is far less effectual in endgame because Golds are more likely to be left with range, making LW camping useless. This holds for gold rushes as well.
