Double Cleric Sets
Well, I finally won a second cleric on my gray and searched around the Formation Database, but found nothing to my liking on double cleric sets with no frost/frost golems. So would anybody like to suggest any forms I would be glad to try them. I like any kind of turt forms from wardless to double warded. Offensive or defensive I can adjust. And center or corner it doesn't really matter. Never really played with double clerics so I would just like to experiment with some of your guys sets to try it out

If the second cleric is your only drop better dont use it. I think dual clerics are good with beast riders mostly, you have to go very offensive and your melee units become too hard to kill giving you time for anything.
I dont like the set Ardoro posted, seems too easy to flank/rush. If i was you, id use cleric+barrier for now.

If you really want to use the double clerics and don't have any other drops, you could try a set with 2 clerics, 2 pyros, LW, knights, scout, and assassin. The pyros would be hard to kill by anything but knights because double healing stops the mud and scout from really being a thread. I've played similar forms, and I think they are pretty fun.

I'd use three knights, double wards, double clerics, scout, assassin and mud. Chanty is not needed when you have two clerics... BW to protect mud or scout when attacking, cleric when defending, or a frozen unit. Plenty of melee units to distract frosts. Even a frozen unit takes a lot of turns when up against two clerics, giving you time to get to their vitals. Plenty of mobility. Assassin, mud, and scout can attack fairly quickly if needed.. or a slower attack with the knights added in. Only difficulty with a set composing of these units is the lack of range. Frosts become a priority over cleric sometimes.
Since you have a BR you could put it in for assassin, but I preferred using the assassin simply because I had a front line hole in my set that would be better filled in by an assassin than a BR.. and the fact that when flanked I had some holes that also would be filled in better by the assassin. It was more difficult to attack however. Its really personal preference. |
