So I was playing one of my patented sure-to-lose forms against a standard NJ rush. Only offensive units I have are a Scout and a DSM (and a DT, I guess) -- with 3 Wards, a Stone, a Furgon, and a Cleric as backup.

This dude is so determined to break stone focus that he wastes his Mud's life breaking Barriers to try to get his Scout a clear shot -- then his Scout gets trapped in some shrubbery and can't escape. He never takes a single shot at either of my offensive units despite bringing in his DT to finish off my Furgon -- but once his Scout and Mud are dead, he...


SURRENDERS.

Dunno; maybe brad's mom got home and he had to bail. But it seemed like he actually thought his Knights and DT couldn't at least force a draw (and he totally forgot about his GA).

Wierd. People give up waay to easy.

Definitely. They getreal nervous and end up surrendering or doing dumb moves which results into losses.

People also assume victory too easily at times. I've had countless people say "gg" to me while on my dropless, recently, only to find that a chanty, BW, scout and assassin can be a pain in the buttocks, even against 3 knights, a dragon and a cleric...

Gotta be careful with enchanty + bw when you have no ranged focus breaking. Well ok, Dragon has some, but it's rather limited.

I'm sure that dude had to go. He had no reason to surrender. Even if his dragon died, he could have just brought up his frost to do some frosty whoring.

He gave up after i broke focus or something ^^
Well, infact the problem is, much people suck at the endgame...
Countless ppl just give up when you get theyr cleric, scout or the frost, or whatever unit they like the most...
But as they already give up then, theyll never learn how to endgame, so it might be ok for them to give up that early

Alot of people have a very unhealthy cleric obsession. It's a nice unit, but not a game breaker, especially if you paid too dearly to get it.

ITS(DRUMROLL)GUIDE

Most people place too much value on several of the "staple" units (scout, frost, cleric, mud golem), and once those units are killed, they simply give up. I've played several games witha triple frost set where they surrender the moment they lose their mud golem or scout (though, it IS a bit hard to win against three frost golems and a furgon without your mud or scout).

I'm beginning to pull away from this. I used to think my cleric/scout were everything. I think Gypseee negged me once saying " your cleric isn't everything. If u lose it you still have a chance."
then i began to see after pwning mask's rush a few times without my cleric
