How to use frosts, furgon and mud set
My guide.
The set ![]() Noobs No need to explain, just own them. Dropless sets If it's same side, you have a very high chance of winning. Most of the times, they will have a BW. So basically, freeze there LW first up. If they BW it, move the frost behind the mud and freeze up a knight. If they use there scout to shoot ya frost, he/she fell right into your trap. Freeze his scout with the frost freezing the LW. 1 range unit out of use already. After that, it's a good chance of winning, just don't go sacraficing your units because they might just own you with chanty lol. Opposite sides, this may be a bit more hard, since I hardly doubt there just gonna walk right into your frost range. Shrub up your flank, move frosts up, shoot shrubs with your scout to enable frost more range, it's a pretty slow process, unless they just foolishly try to kill your frost :P. Grey with drops(1/2 frost +mud) Ok, gets a bit more difficult. Same sides, same strategy with dropless. if they send in there mud to unfreeze frost, that's great, move frost back, freeze and kill the mud. Now to defending, if they lets say, freeze one of your frontline knights, and they move up a knight to attack it. Freeze that knight of course. But if it's in LW range and scout range, it's pretty much dead, so use that time to kill their units or just try and don't get freezed in there LW range lol. Opposite sides, very more slow. Shrub flank no matter what, if they come to attack it, defend well with frost, they send in mud, reshrub and freeze. If they freeze you, use furgon to stop there scouts LOS. If, however, they don't try to attack your flank, and stay in there turtle, use the same stratedgy with dropless opposite. If they have a furgon, move up your units, both frosts, mud, scout, knights, all of it. Except keep furgon and cleric safe lol. If you see a weakness thrawt it with mud only as long if it has the backup of 1 knight and 1 scout. Kill there frost and cleric if you can and get the hell out of there. Gold Rushes, these are actually pretty fun to verse. If there GA can hit ya cleic, shrub it out of action, kill mud fast, dsm if they have it, scouts, GA and wisps. You can leave the dragon for a bit because it's got a high waiting turn and can be blocked off easy. Frosts backed up by furgon can easily get to a dragon. Gold Turtles I never really encounter much of these but lets start with same sides. You basically got it since a double gold turtle is pretty weak with few attacking units, just kill wisp when it comes in, mud and scout. Just back it all up with a furgon. Oppositeok, I really have bad experience with this, so just use the statedgys I just gave you. You can move in mud to de stone the units when most of the stoned units are far away from stone. This is all I can remember for today, but if you need anymore tips on other types of games, just post it here. A different set. It works pretty well, gives more cover and works great against grey rushes. ![]() |

you're not as bad as you think at it, opp side takes longer to get used to, same side games rock
you still owe me 15 from that d/c ![]() lol jk the guide is a good basic strategy guide, and there are tons of more specific strategy points that arise later in the game. Practice and master - you will lose at first, that is ok, because you will start to get the hang of it after a while and shoot up. This type of set wasn't all that common until the ninja era (lol jk, it was around beforehand, my first game on legends was vs this type of set) |
