1st Ever Formation Database

So I have been working, over the last 2 weeks on an SQL based Database that is custom made to index a variety of formations, with the ability to categorize and display a variety of formations, and soon to be from a variety of players. So, without further ado...

NJ Formation Database

I did work hard on this, and would appreciate criticism so long as it is constructive. I had to push through some heavy coding to get this to work, and I am satisfied with it thus far. Currently the functionality is limited to displaying formations and searching them based on:

Their intended server
Intended account type
Type of formation (eg turtle, rush)
Board Position

Current additional features:

detailed formation page
- any tactical notes by user
- ability to rate a formation
- ability to comment on a formation
- comment reputation system
- larger picture
advanced search page
- search for forms with specific units
- search for forms by contributor
- search for forms by key words (tags)
- any other ideas?
Modify Results Box: Change order of listing by
- Date (default)
- Rating
- Comments
- Votes
- views
- Settings stored in cookie
- any other ideas?

With that said, everyone, I hope that you will contribute to this compilation by submitting your own formations! Just use the link to upper right! Its hard to miss! Hopefully this will evolve into a valuable TAO resource.

Looks good.
I would use this as a tool to help out with your database. Given people don't mind their forms being used.

I like it. Good job.

However, I think these need to be somehow ordered in terms of popularity, or it will be cluttered. I suggest a "rate this set" star thing on each set, or a "do you use this set" checkbox on each one. The cliche sets need to be added and this all needs to be organized so that it doesn't get cluttered by personal sets everywhere.

The search feature is excellent, and the design is pretty well done also. Very good job.

Any formations you want to contribute are overly welcome. I took a lot of trouble to make this so that you don't need to give me the formations, but you can do it directly. Its a 30 second process, or less if you leave the optional fields blank

Thanks! I do not know what the cliche sets are, and would appreciate anyone willing to upload them, and add them. You can add your own formations, which means that if you think you have better sets that you want to share, you can make them known.

Also, I believe in my first post I listed some upcoming features, including the ability to rate setups. This will become a powerful tool, but I need to set up the "Formation Details" page first.

Really? I thought I tested the AJAX extensively. Is your image less than or equal to the dimensions 850 pixels by 700 pixels? That is the most likely problem >_>. I want them to be small enough so that I may display them within the layout at some point. You may need to crop if this is the case.
