Ok, I'll consider it. It will be tricky, as I have to write a nifty program first. Doing it by hand is unreasonable.

Also, please welcome Vintage as a site moderator. He now has the goods to catch the bad guys, and support the good guys!

Did it have a % sign in it? I know that can do it, and I will work on it. Normally it is because of some characters that screw up URLs. If you can think of anything you put in there, I will write a filter function that converts it to something safe so this does not happen again.

I have had the same this happen to me

Anyways, I am beginning to feel this project has no where to go, and it may be done. If anyone has any brilliant ideas, let me know.

I will be starting another project as this slows down. For those interested, it will be an open source application designed for coders looking for light weight alternatives to Dreamweaver and other expensive but somewhat bloated programs.

I have some more time in my hands this days, so if you want to hand the project off to somebody, here I am

As for suggestions, the one thing that caught my eye since the database was conceived was that the images were hosted elsewhere. I'm not sure of the limits in capacity of your server, but if I were you, I'd try to move at least the top formations to a more permanent location so that we don't lose them overtime.

Also, you could add a "report broken image" button, so that the image can be resubmitted or we can remove the entry accordingly.

good suggestions. I have already talked to Thargor about image hosting. But he has to ask someone else about it first.

As for the report link thing, another good idea, for now just post a comment saying dead link. I will think of something more elaborate later.

BTW El Cid, it is great to see you, I am glad you have more time, I would be delighted if you would take up another moderator position. PM me if you are interested. I will not be "handing off the project yet, but when I leave for college most likely.
