what does the rating actually do? what im trying to say is what the point of the rating is? sure if u win it goes up, and if u lose it goes down, but thats common sense. i just want to know y theres a rating in the first place. can any1 help?

To make the game more addictive, also it can tell how good a player is.

Ummmmm....clear this up do you mean rating or stats...if you mean stats, then here is your explanation...Stats are basically a way to grade/match your opponent...For instance, a 1350 Gold wouldn't wanna play a 750 Gold because the 1350 Gold is obviously more skilled and expierienced (Unless the 750 Gold is a new acc created by A senior member or something). I have a 1400 Grey and i wouldn't play a 600 Grey because i am more advanced and would rather play a 1300+ Grey or Golds....But my favorite thing about stats...is stat raping noob golds with a 750 Grey .... Hope this was some help!

ya stats is what i meant thx chad1 and deepnub i was wondering fer a while. the stats will keep on going up. i was at 1140 but then droped down now back up again.

prefect explaination.

basically the point of stats/rating is to see how high u can get, then say look at how good i am every1. unforuntatly ratings dont usually show skill becuase more than u would think there are 600s better than 1400 because 600s get their stats low on purpose and the 1400 boosts his stats up to seem cool.
what i am trying to get at is u will become a better player if u dont pay attention to stats, cuz u will end up playing every1 who will play u and some will be better alowing u to learn. if u watch stats to closely (like most) then u will end up in the long run only playing people u think u can beat, which is not how u get better, except when u are testing a set or something
