This kind of confused me. Are you saying here that you don't know the name of the US coins? Or did I just horribly misread this.

I'm accurate within about 15 yards.. Haha.. but I can catch basically anything thrown in my direction. I'm used to running after passes.. but they were throwing and catching so quickly that I couldn't really react to em. It was a lot harder for me to anticipate what they were doing. =/

And.. what's that edit all about? Random much?

I think I know the names (cents, dimes, nickels, quarters?) but have little-no idea what values they are (aside from a cent being a penny to us...is a quarter 25p?)

That's pretty good for a beginner, you know. Infact, it's rather impressive.

My relex catches are pretty good because of it

You get used to it. It's a fast paced game.

Penny = .01
Nickel = .05
Dime = .1
Quarter = .25
50 cent piece(really creative, eh?) = .5
Dollar Coin(Or Coin Dollar, doesn't really matter) = 1.

Dollar Coins are rarely used.

it's:

Penny: 1cent
Nickel: 5cents
dime: 10 cents
quarter: 25 cents
half-dollar: you should be able to guess :P

I've never quite absorbed the english coins system either.. do you guys still use crowns? it's always confused me.

Yea, we have dollar coins!
They're all goldish, with words around the edges! ^_^
But they're decorative really, it's frowned upon to use them to buy stuff.
