So whats the point?

Whats the whole point of playing videogames or logging into forums? What does it accomplish other then wasting time on a computer instead of working out, or hanging with friends or better yet, being with someone you really care about? Nothing positive I can think of other then feeling proud about yourself because you can pwn in the game easy. Doesnt help you in the long run, nor does it help anyone for anything.

I dont know how much times I get homework I have to do, or a subject I have to study, but instead procrastinate and log on to TAO and play, or LF and start posting. Then the day that it is due I'm screwed since I never done anything, or dont know what to put on that test since I never studied.

That doesnt obviously go to everyone here. But mostly for every hardcore fan out there. People that can't live without games, or posting on forums.

I apoligize in advance if I do get banned for this, but I'm the type that loves helping people. Everyone is losing valuable experiance, whether if it's from sports, hanging out with friends, working out, or even working/voluntering to gain experiance in the long run.

I'm not saying everyone stop now and get the hell away from the computer. I'm just saying at least slow down by a lot. Have a social life, get that valuable experiance you will never gain back since your growing. Call one of your friends and hang out by a park, watch a movie with them, whatever turns your crank.

My questions are open to anyone that wants to give there opinion, or just opinionate to what I said. I'm simplying informing, nothing more, nothing less.

Well school is of course twice as important as games but it is FUN to do these things, in my opinion... I like laying loose from school and playing around instead of reading in my spare time 24/7.

I always think of this as well....but some times it's a habit/routine you get into. You become acustom to it. Much like adults and their daily routine.

WHat aggression is saying does have a point to it , but people play games to let loose from things such as stress, and social problems. But Alazakam and Agrression do have good points.

Sometimes you just gotta think what does this accomplish at the end of the day...have I done anything good, worth wild to improve myself or others. Like somedays I'm not in mood for certain things yet I still find my self doing it. I always think of other things I would have liked to have done...but I don't knw sumthing (some kind of force) drags to doing the same old thing that does nothing for me.

Games also give you stress when you keep getting screwed consecutively. /Sinub

Some people have very low self asteem and games like this could help raise it...

Also lets say people make fun of you like "Your ugly," for an e.g. if people tell you things like "Wow, great game! Nice move with the," and so on it will boost your self asteem.

It is proven that 3 good things said to you is equal to 1 mean thing. (My Vice-Principal said, but she's not the brightest, lol)
