It's fun. It's also a strategic game that can help you with problem-solving and logic, but the main reason is fun, rest, and competition (which can sometimes lead to self-esteem).

i think school should always come first. theres a fine line between fun and school work and u cant cross it. do school first and then u pwn every1 on tao

Dude what have you been smoking? This game and forums helps you in so many ways. Tao helps you in math, you have to calculate how many hits it will take to kill a certain unit. It teaches you to respect other players and not to be a sore loser. It teaches you about luck. Both of them help you meet new people and make new friends, I have like 120 people from here on my msn. Tao and Lf are is my life, I'm never quitting and it's never going to get boring.

Well well...I've actually thought about this quite a bit. I play this game more than people think I should...but what the heck? I have fun here....that's all that matters to me.

Why do you go to school? To learn..so that you can go to the next level and eventually get a job. Why do you get a job? to make money so that you can do things that you enjoy. =O

Well...looks like I'm ahead of the game. I don't have a job and I do something that I enjoy. Hizzah! =P

On a more serious note...Having a social life is also important. People are going to be the one constant throughout your life...TAO obviously isn't going to be around forever. People skills is the key...to life I guess. TAO has actually helped me quite a bit in that regard. I met a lot of cool people here...and I became more social IRL.

Anyway...I'm really tired...so this post might sound sorta weird. You'll hopefully get the point though. =P

It is possible to have fun on an online game and have a social life. Its all about balance. Got spare time? Pwn darknub or read the forums. Goin out on friday night? Go out, have fun, if you are old enough, get drunk, come home, pwn Darknub. LF and TAO are perfect for weekdays because If you work you relax the evenings. Simple as.

TAO my friends is simply something I do to relax myself nothing more, the same goes with foruming. Yes I have my priorities, I have real life friends, and yes I have a job and go to school. TAO is something I do in my free time.

So you ask what is the point in TAO? Relaxation.

yes i agree. Meet nice poeple have a bit of fun. In fact you put some good points forward but im ALSO very active in going out etc.
I have friends over often and spend my time doing diferent things.
Saturday ive got soccer game then im going to watch my team in AFL.
Swans v the pies ie. Sydney v COllingwood lol
Pies= magpies ^^
Sunday im going to watch oceans thirteen,
So yes, tao does use up time and lots of it but i think i manage to keep it all together however my school performance is slipping slightly and ill have a look at that soon. And yes i have a social life ^^ and hang out with friends often.
