mpg to mp4

i recently downloaded a video from limewire is mpg format. i was going to put it on my ipod but it wont play. are there any free software for macs that will convert it to mp4.

Actually, I can't be fully sure, since I've never bothered converting to mp4, but I've never had any problems, especially with B&S.

i googled a little in the short time period i had but i guess ill check out the ones gypsy posted and go back to google.

the bink setup was in .sit format. no idea what that is. the other one wasnt free.

You have to tinker with the settings. You'd probably have to read up on it. I'm not in the mood to explain. Xilisoft is free if you torrent it and get a crack. Not that I condone that. |D

@red devil: Good point. Probably too big if it's a movie though.
