LF Hall Of Shame

Something Phoenix said inspired the idea of this.

Something about the new members seeing the noobs with really low reputations would help them decide to not be like those forum users.

A little later I thought that perhaps LF should have a "Hall Of Shame" Sticky somewhere (Perhaps in the newbie board or something)

The "Hall Of Shame" sticky being a comprehensive "What Not To Do In LF" guide by way of showing various idiots who have come to these forums with links to posts they make showing precisely how you should not act.

The HOS could include both "Attitude Noobs" and "Illiterate Noobs" showcasing old favourite noobs such as "~Deepsea Warrior~" and "bladi" as well as newer contenders such as recent "nick the ninja" and perhaps to a lesser extent people like "movieguy21"

The incentive being to display the worst members and show new people how not to post if you want to become a respected member of the community.

Does anyone think this is a good idea?

I don't see any point in it, they can look at the rules and it says it there..

It does do something though, brings shame to these member's names.

But I would personally try and reform them and if they don't listen then ban and forget.

Good idea anyhow.

not a too bad idea, but i think the "forum noobs" decide to b disrespected b4 they decide to behave in the way they do - or not? (nobody can really act that stupid and childish, if he really wants to b respected)(just seen NtN but i dont think the others r too different...)

That would be a troll, which is different from a noob by definition. People like ntn and infiniteline are trolls, whereas bladi was a noob.

Some people perhaps but they are idiots anyway if so and we wouldn't want them in LF anyway really. Besides it would probably give more people a bit more of an idea on forum posting conduct.

So a kinda 50/50 split so far?

The guy who said he smokes weed and stuff, he got banned in like 10 minutes lol (can't remember his name)
