The "new" Button Under "Recent Posts"
You know those blue "new" buttons under the Recent Posts list? Instead of making them go directly to the last post in a thread, can it direct to the actual first new post like it does in the "new replies" or "unread posts" page? It would improve browsing speed quite a bit as less time is spent on scrolling up to the last post one has read.

I've had that happen to me once or twice. Just glance at the name if it's near the top.

I understand what your talking about, and it seems like a good idea. Although I'm not 100% sure whether it can be done or not, I'm sure they prefer we remember and figure out which posts are new on our own

I like this idea very much. Especially in my case. Sometimes my connection is so slow, that it takes forever to scroll up or down a page, especially with all the banners. I would like to see this option be added.
