Mods usually post why they closed it in the thread. Like M_A_D closing the Upgrades thread. He posted it was because of spam.

Yes well no one is perfect. I sometimes have my differences with the mods/admins but they do the best job that they can do and I don't think they abuse their power, well at least not on purpose.

I always reply to PMs regarding mod decisions. Although I often don't know the answer, if another mod has closed the thread in question.

It should be obvious (in some cases painfully so) why a thread is locked. If it's not, please ask the mod who did so. If you're unsure, ask.

But at the end of the day, to coin a phrase of Prophet's - This isn't a democracy, it's a dictatorship. If you really dislike it that much, leave.

A-I, you've not even a regular here. Hell, I don't even know who you are, yet you come here and whine about us doing what we were asked to do? Hell, I asked to be unmodded a long time ago, and here I am, still doing mod work when I get a chance to, because there's not many people who would do it to the standard and frequency of the team at the moment.

Mods take a hard time for doing their job. Honestly - 9/10 warnings or infractions are greeted by an inane PM by some irate pre-pubescent imbecile spouting abuse. Of course this warrants further infractions, and similar things follow. I've banned 2 people this week for that very reason. I think I get about 1 "thanks" per month, usually for doing something that has been requested, rather than regular duties. I take a lot of hassle for what I do though. How about you stop whining and get on the boat. Otherwise, jump overboard.
