Observation and Positive Suggestion, Please Read All Before Posting
First off, if you wish to comment, I encourage it, but first read my whole thread, rather then skim.
Id like to theorize the following, other opinions are encouraged. The Following are all Logical Observations I have thought about. 1. The Forums Do not Want spam. (please don't spam, its bad for the forums) 2. We have the junk section for spam. (we don't want bad posts counting +1) 3. Regardless of weather a post adds post count under your name, spam is bad. For example, spamming in the rdt, is just as bad as spamming in a thread in off-topic about money. 4. Junk forums, such as clubs have more spam, because it is seen as not adding to post count, thus posting irreverent frivolous posts are viewed as okay. (which I later theorize as still bad) 5. Forums such as Games, should not add to post count, because they are not intended to be short, simple, repetative posts. (Counting thread) 6. If it is the belief that spam is bad, then enforcing spam should be equal in all threads other then forum games. If the purpose is to not have spam on the forum as a whole, then spamming rules should be applied and enforced in all sections except forum games. Also I propose, that if a thread is spammed in, such as the new requirements for admired and worshiped, and if the spamming is repetitive, the individual offenders should have to pay for their rule breaking, and individual post to be deleted. I reason this also as a supporting argument, because if a group of people constantly spam in a thread, while a certain amount of people post intelligently, by moving a thread to junk, it is actual the good posters who are hurt. This is reasoned because It is the Bad posters who benefit, because rather then being given enforcement of rules, they lose post count. However, weather or not a thread is junk may not really matter, as long as offenders have rules enforced on them. In summary, my conclusion is: That whether things are in junk, or get junk, spammers should have rules enforced on them for repatitive frivolous posts, rather then things getting junked to escape having to go through posts and enforcing the warning and infraction system for the spamming there. I also sympathize with the condition of the rdt, and discourage the behavior of inane post made by the majority of posters there. No I do not care about the rdt being junked. No I do not care about my post count. I like forums without spam. I am unaware of whether individuals were rule enforced for their spamming in the rdt recently which caused it to be junked or not. As I said I have no opinion on whether the rdt should be in junk or not, rather My only opinion is in the red text. If What I already posted in the red, is actual what is already being done, thats great, ignore my thread then. If you feel the same way, Id be glad to see that I am not alone in this matter. And if you feel differently, I encourage diverse opinions so that all sides of the story may be shown. My fingers hurt* Good day.

Spamming can be annoying and is not needed I agree. Although I want to state my opinion on this:
Yes to the fact that their should be enforced rules about spamming. But every thread is going to have some few post dedicated to spam. One poster is going to argue with another poster, in which their own conversation will break out. Spam is definitely going to happen whether anybody likes it or not. Might as well take out post count then. If it's not a bother at all, then why have it in the first place? We don't necessarily need it. Since the join date and how well known you are affects your longevity. Post count is just a plus. Showing everyone how much times you posted in the forum. It's not mandatory.

Its not about weather the thread is junked, but that the people who spam have to have the rules enforced on them for spamming, aka warnings or infractions.

I'm with you S3RO, every forums, or at least this one should not have spam either it be in junk or on topic (except by the forum games and chain threads).
It seems that everyone on the forums do care about his/her/it post count, and that's not cool because they does not benefit OUR forums. I also like to add, that we are 1, everybody should care this forum as if we were the owners, because indeed we "support" it. So c'mon people don't make this nice place to have fun into a bad place to get banned. ![]()

I agree with what you said nonetheless. Basically this is just a suggestion for enhancing the rules against spamming? In which I agree. M'bad for the confusion.... ![]()

Spammers should have to get rules enforced on them, regardless of something getting junked.
