You know at the bottom of the thread, when a person shows up maybe these forums could show what they're doing like reading or posting.. I know vbulletin is capable of this..

If you view their profile it says "Viewing Thread..." or "Replying to Thread..."

Showing at the bottom of the thread would be easier, though.

Hmm, that would be a nice feature. Maybe that could be looked more deeply into?
