Smart member club

Club where only people who make pretty good posts and have earned good reputation should have there own club, they deserve it. I'm tired of nubs posts and so many people in the special section. I'm also tired of people complaining about how they are tired of reading some nubs post. There should be a club where only "good" forumers should be allowed to talk

Well I suppose it's a good idea but how would members get into the club.
A poll, so that people could vote whether they are good forumer or not perhaps?

No, but really: The Speical section is there for what you're talking about. And they're about to raise the rep. points and posts you need to be able to post in the speical section, so it wont be a problem anymore. Hopefully.

Meh, I'm not against the idea, but I doubt it will be put into action.

It's a decent concept, but it's way too demeaning to members that aren't considered "smart".

It won't work since it's a very... elitist idea. Plus, it would be too hard to define a set of standards for it. What makes a good poster a good poster? What is "smart" defined as? They're both really ambiguous questions since there's a myriad of things that contribute to someone being a decent forumer and there are different kinds of intelligence. I'm sure EVERYONE here has extensive knowledge in something, be it a sport, subject or hobby.

Remember the "Legends Club" Phoenix created? That didn't work due to him being away. I like the concept, but it's hard to make work, and people would cry and whine if they didn't get in.

Meh, the only effective way to initiate such an idea would be through the use of polls.
Maybe a few people to start, that might be considered shoe ins, chosen by the admin... And then it would be a self sustaining group from then on, who's momentum and accuracy (in terms of who deserves to be there and who doesn't) is controlled by the people running it.

But meh, thats just how I think it would/should work if it was implemented, but I know it won't be.

Not to mention, this idea of an elitist group is kinda silly.... "Smart" people don't need a forum to themselves to have an intelligent conversation, they just need to ignore "dumb" people.
