Turning OFF the sound or Volume Knob!
First off, if anyone knows how to do this please let me know.
I use Firefox by the way. I like to listen to my own music via my Winamp while playing, but sometimes the sounds from the game can overpower my music. I wish there were a mute button or at least a volume knob for the game! I would really appreciate this add on. Thank You. |

LMAO.
this is ridiculously off topic, but so worth it i just checked when your first post was. it was in april. the hilarious thing is that i created a clan called Ivalice Alliance last month. ![]() kinda ironic. i guess i can assume that you may have bought the new FFTA then? check out this thread when you have time Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift!!!!! and now back on topic. this has been suggested before. it was presented as a way to improve TAO, but if you apply the fact that that will never happen and think about firefox capabilities, i think there could be a way to make sounds coming from your browser or at least Flash applications mute

thanks for the quick response and info. Yes, I do own FFT and FFTA plus some of the other Final Fantasy titles but sadly I do not own a DS. So I probably won't be able to play that game for awhile.
Anyway I still would love a mute button if it is possible. I hope they take this suggestion up as there are many other flash games out there that do this already. Oh, and I'd love to join your clan if it is possible. ![]() |

legends is the test server. but, if you ask | red devil |, he may know a way of silencing your browser/flash applications while still allowing you to listen to media players...but i believe they're flash based too... i took our clan conversation to PM's

Thanks, I actually knew about FlashMute but it doesn't seem to work properly on my system and is buggy. Mostly due to the fact that I am running an older system.
Windows ME ![]() I also found Mute Flash 0.2.1 on Firefox for add-ons but it only works for Windows XP and people seem to think it's not very good anyway ![]() |
