Er, let anyone post in the "Help Forum" section I mean only mods can post in it and...they don't know everything!!! Look at Brutal, er computer programming wizz, etc, etc, etc.

Software and hardware problems are different you know. =p

Then again, CS majors are required to take a couple of hardware classes here. lulz. RD pretty much takes care of 99% computer problems here anyway and he is a mawd so bleh.

as tempting as the idea is, it's best to let the mods handle it because there are plenty of users out there who just post something equivalent to "noob" when someone needs help, or just want post count

But most of them are. So it's best to leave it to the Mods to take care of the problems.

The Help Forum is designed for game-related issues; the mods are best-placed to answer them accurately and correctly, so there is no need for other users to post there. For other non-game related questions, use the Off-Topic section.

The section was open to all bold blues and up at one point, but that was changed shortly after as the answers became repetitive and post count was a higher priority for the posters. If you have a good answer to a thread in the help forum, a private message will also help them just as much.
