Rotate view

the screen on TAO should be able to rotate to allow for a better view by holding down the middle mouse key and moveing the mouse

This would require a total revamp of the unit graphics; at the moment there only needs to be 4 standard views (depending on the 4 ways they can face) but this would require a lot more. I don't think Seed would want to spend the necessary time revamping a aesthetic feature only when there are many gameplay aspectsto be improved.

The server couldn't handle it, there are already moments where we have tremendous lag. It also tends to lag up around drop time.

It wouldn't be worth the effort, I don't see any real benefits.

Sorry, its pointless. You can see everything fine from your current view, and the rotation view is a trivial upgrade that would be too much work to do and too much strain on the server, and it isn't even worth it.

Oh and Seed's not here... =P

that's a characteristic of a computer game. Flash is barely capable of that - and the game is coded with images that shift to show unit movement, they're not 3D creations
