This is a discussion on weaker knights within the Suggestions to improve TAO forums, part of the Development category; I think knights are too strong...they should be a bit weaker...not too much, but a little bit....

The knights' main strength, their blocking, was made less effective by the blocking changes. Blocking is less valuable now than it was before the "new" system was introduced.
Anyway, the greys need something to level the playing field against golds. The knights are their key attack unit. |

knights are much weaker than they used to be because of the blocking system which likes to give you big -blocking for side blocks and only minimal +blocking for a front hit with a much lower chance of happening...knights are much weaker now than when they could block multiple times in a row

Everybody has 3. 95% of grays use 3. (Hasn't SeeD used a 10 Knight set?)
Weaken knights and DMW's and Pyros gets stronger. I think it's fine how it is. ![]()

ok, I see your point...but the idea of a Knight killing a DT single handedly really goes against the DT is worth 2 units...
maybe the DT should be a little bit stronger somehow... Knight's end up being a really critical Unit...makes it hard to use a lot of different units...gets stale...

But that's because the dragon isn't designed to be a one-on-one unit. Every unit has its own weakness and that is the dragon's (along with the double unit cost). The plus side is insane HP, good armor, immense power and fantastic movement. Improve the dragon? How? Make it invincible?
