sound off or volume...other sound

This is a discussion on sound off or volume...other sound within the Suggestions to improve TAO forums, part of the Development category; certain it's been said before...but it should be so easy to add...like 5 lines of code to frame 1 of ...

sound off or volume...other sound
certain it's been said before...but it should be so easy to add...like 5 lines of code to frame 1 of actions layer or whatever...and some music...just a drumroll and a flute or something...battle music ya know.

/sound to toggle sound on off

/music to turn on/off background music


really, sound off is super easy...or

/volume (0-100) for volume control..

whateversoundeffect.setVolume(0-100);

duplicate with each sound effect...easy stuff

the music could be gleaned from flashkit or similar...


anyway..would you guys like some music for TAO...provided it could be turned off ?

and would you like to see a /sounds command added in the next update ?

but I wanted to talk about it and not revive old threads...which is worse, reviving a thread that is old...or making a thread that has been covered before ?
