further upgrade paths, like unit "packs" that would allow you to get several units more quickly.

like:

Golem Pack:

2 Frosts and a Mud

Beast Pack:

3 Beast Riders

Mage Pack:

2 Witches and a Pyro

stuff like that

I'm sure it's been mentioned before, but it would save a lot of time for those who want specialty sets and not spend 6 months waiting for the right drops

these are just examples, what would you pay $10 for ?

I Don't think it would work, because some rich person (drow) would just buy loads of golem pack and swarm the field o.O

It's a good pack like you could make your own set and own with it.

No offense, but if you simply ask Seed (if he was around), he'll give you drop units to a certain extent. I received one of each rare drop units before going Double Gold.

yeah, I've got an account in mind for no humans games, it will need several frosts and likely some extra beasties to be effective, I'm sure a lot of ppl have some special sets they want to use that they don't want to risk stats on their main account, I don't really want to spend five months getting that one drop I need, but I'd pay an extra ten bucks to save me the time.....just a thought, and a way for SeeD to get a few extra bucks.

On a side note, can I just purchase a 'cutom' upgrade ?

as in 2 frosts and 2 beasties ? for a double gold account I'm getting next month ?

I like this idea, it takes entirely too long to get them from playing. I'd buy loads of beast and frost packs so I could create a freezer set and a killer rush.

If you make sure to Email Seed when he finally returns to upgrade people, 2 frosts and 2 beast riders seems feasible.
