I finally got some time free and decided to work on my entry for this months SOTM. I have 3 versions, one with no border, one with black border, and the last one with white border.

I'm not really comfortable with how the text came out, if any of you guys have any suggestions of text placement, style or what not I would appreciate if you help me with it.

All comments and criticisms are welcomed.

composition is good. effects are...ok. (im being generous). colors are poor. text makes me want to cut myself. after cutting you.
1st, get on google, look up 'rule of thirds' and use that to help place your text. (you'll also understand WHY you're composition is good.)
2nd, K.I.S,S. Keep It Simple, Stupid. you dont need all the fade ins and fade outs on the text.
clean up the muck around the clown's face
try and get more than 1 color. (google 'color theory' first).

Wow, that is by far the best advice I have gotten from any of my sigs, and I really appreciate it. Yeah, I know my text sucks, never been good at it. I'll look up all these things you mentioned and see what I can come up with.
