For the NFL fans.

The National Football League (NFL) season is going into week 11. There are only 7 more weeks of the season before they head into the playoffs. Here's a nice time to hear what you guys predict on which teams are going to the playoffs. Out of 32 teams, only 12 of them are going to the playoffs: 6 from the AFC and 6 From the NFC. Here are all the teams standings (win-loss) and statistics (offensive and defensive rankings):

AFC CONFERENCE

AFC East
New England Patriots = Standing (5-4) (6th ranked offense) (31st ranked defense)
Buffalo Bills = Standing (4-5) (29th ranked offense) (13th ranked defense)
Miami Dolphins = (3-6) (18th ranked offense) (18th ranked defense)
New York Jets = (2-7) (30th ranked offense) (11th ranked defense)

AFC North
Cincinnati Bengals = (7-2) (5th ranked offense) (15 ranked defense)
Pittsburgh Steelers = (7-2) (23rd ranked offense) (9th ranked defense)
Cleveland Browns = (3-6) (24th ranked offense) (27th ranked defense)
Baltimore Ravens = (2-7) (26th ranked offense) (3rd ranked defense)

AFC South
Indianapolis Colts = (9-0) (2nd ranked offense) (4th ranked defense)
Jacksonville Jaguars = (6-3) (19th ranked offense) (5th ranked defense)
Tennessee Titans = (2-7) (17th ranked offense) (19th ranked defense)
Houston Texans = (1-8) (31st ranked offense) (29th ranked defense)

AFC West
Denver Broncos = (7-2) (4th ranked offense) (23rd ranked defense)
Kansas City Chiefs = (5-4) (8th ranked offense) (26th ranked defense)
San Diego Chargers = (5-4) (9th ranked offense) (21st ranked defense)
Oakland Raiders = (3-6) (14th ranked offense) (24th ranked defense)

NFC CONFERENCE

NFC East
Dallas Cowboys = (6-3) (12th ranked offense) (6th ranked defense)
New York Giants = (6-3) (11th ranked offense) (17th ranked defense)
Washington Redskins = (5-4) (10th ranked offense) (7th ranked defense)
Philadelphia Eagles = (4-5) (7th ranked offense) (25th ranked defense)

NFC North
Chicago Bears = (6-3) (28th ranked offense) (1st ranked defense)
Detroit Lions = (4-5) (27th ranked offense) (14th ranked defense)
Minnesota Vikings = (4-5) (25th ranked offense) (28th ranked defense)
Green Bay Packers = (2-7) (16th ranked offense) (10th ranked defense)

NFC South
Carolina Panthers = (7-2) (22nd ranked offense) (8th ranked defense)
Atlanta Falcons = (6-3) (15th ranked offense) (20th ranked defense)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers = (6-3) (21st ranked offense) (2nd ranked defense)
New Orleans Saints = (2-7) (20th ranked offense) (12th ranked defense)

NFC West
Seattle Seahawks = (7-2) (1st ranked offense) (16th ranked defense)
St. Louis Rams = (4-5) (3rd ranked offense) (30th ranked defense)
Arizona Cardinals = (2-7) (13th ranked offense) (22nd ranked defense)
San Francisco 49ers = (2-7) (32nd ranked offense) (32nd ranked defense)

1 team from each of those 8 divisions with the best standing in their division will be in the playoff. While 2 teams from each conference that didn't win the division, but have a better record than the other teams in the conference, will be in the playoffs. So 6 teams (4 divisional winners and 2 wild cards) from the AFC conference and the NFC conference. Now here is who I think those 12 teams will be to go to the playoffs:

AFC
Indianapolis Colts
Denver Broncos
Cincinnati Bengals
New England Patriots
Jacksonville Jaguars
San Diego Chargers

NFC
Carolina Panthers
Seattle Seahawks
Chicago Bears
Dallas Cowboys
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Washington Redskins

I'd like to see someone out-top that prediction by the end of week 17 in the NFL. B)

Re: For the NFL fans.

this will be the year that the colts finally get over the hump and beat the patriots in the playoffs and win the super bowl...i mean who would bet against that awsome offence with the big 3 peyton manning, marvin harrision, and edgerin james, and their defence is MUCH improved and is one of if not the best in the NFL...

my money's on the colts fa sho

Re: For the NFL fans.

If the Colts can just keep playing how there playing now, they may have a super bowl championship coming there way.

Re: For the NFL fans.

No doubt that the Colts are a great team. But they just have this routine of choking when they are in the playoffs. Lets see....they have been in the playoffs 5-6 times in a row and have yet to reach a Super Bowl. Also if you look back at those years where they had those playoff games, Peyton Manning throws off a lot of costly interceptions. If they want a Super Bowl trophy, they got to loosen up. This is their last year to do so. After that, the salary caps take effect, and the Colts take a huge hit. But I really feel that the Colts can be Super Bowl sure if they make sure that when they go to the playoffs, they don't wind up playing New England or Jacksonville again. Because those 2 teams have the best shot at stopping them:

New England: Out of the last 8 meetings, the Patriots have beaten the Colts 7 times. Just because the Colt's beat them in the season game, doesn't mean the Patriots won't scheme something big on defense if they meet in the playoffs. They didn't win 3 Super Bowls out of the last 4 years for nothing.

Jacksonville: Out of the last 7 meetings, the Jags and the Colts have had close games where the final score was a 3-10 point difference. Anything can happen in a division rivalry.

Re: For the NFL fans.

Every team has its flaws. Just saying that if the Colts want the Super Bowl that badly, they have to play like they are playing up to the Super Bowl. They don't want to end up like the Eagles or early 90's Bills. If the Colts go to the Super Bowl, they will probably be facing the Panthers or the Seahawks. B)
