Lord of the Rings - Return of the king

Ok I have seen the ending to this movie about 5 times and I have listened to every word said and Thought about ths very hard and for a long time... Could anyone please explain to me WTF happens at the end of the movie?

Frodo, Gandalf and the rest of the elves take the boat to the sacred land of Valinor, where the Valar reside along with the rest of the elves. Sam stays behind and maries that one chick. He gets kids. He later comes to Valinor too, if I'm not mistaken.

Just read the books, and the silmarillion.

Yes, slakz, we're a rare breed. We actually READ the boxes. Although I have seen the movie. Reminds me, gonna go watch end of it now, it's pretty good.

I have a related question: were all the hobbits and Gimli that small in real life, or was their size in the movies just advanced camera work?

When i first watched the ending,I thought the movie ended about 6 times due to all the black fade outs, All i know is Frodo, Gandalf, Bilbo and the elves take some ship to some land where I think they become semi immortal? (not to sure)

But Sam stays back and dumps his bf Frodo for that chick at the bar (GO SAM)

Yeah. ending pissed me off *snore* I just watch the tough fighting scenes then stop.

I liked the whole Lord of the Rings thing. It owns. Oh and, rep for the "dumped his bf frodo for that chick at the bar" thing, that made me laugh.

Whats Silmalirion? Yeah that was my question when Frodo and bilbo and the wizard hoe get on the ship, they never explain what happens there...
