Christianity helped destroy everything it created. It was once a an extremely peaceful religion, a great way to live, and a safe way to live. Now, it's like Hel (no, not Hell, diptit) on earth. I would be a Baptist right now like my family if it weren't for overreactive assclans like KKK and pathetic conflicts like Protestants vs Catholics.

You than have to ask yourself, what can be classified as "offending" or "attacking" another religion. People can give valid points arguing a religion, but they aren't doing what is explained above. (Beyond the fact that Twelve was being a jerkoff when it came to those kind of threads, as they had to be run how he wanted, and he did a poor job of it.

Overall, if religion is going to be banned from debate, so should all other debate topics. ALL will cause people to be offended somehow, and that is one of the beautiful things about debating. The fact you want to get even fuels you to try and out do the other, or it justs brings out the bad in people. Politics should be allowed to be talked about freely, after all, most members here don't even follow politics.

Now with that I would like to start this off with something simple:
The bible.
Is it to be taken literally, every single word fact?
Or is more or less a compilation of moral stories with nothing more than a vague historical backround?

I ask this not so you may question what ever religion you choose. But simply get a better understanding of christianity, and hopefully find some truth.
So play nice, and lets keep this mature.
