Trade Odom and they may not make it to the finals sir, He was a great contributor during the season. You have to have a horse to get you there and one to get you over the mountain. Kobe is definately that horse to get them over the mountain but I do not think Gasol can pull enough of the load even with Bynum to help Kobe along the way.
Odom gives them decent perimeter and inside defense and if you have someone that can handle both of those you don't let them go. Versatility is a big PLUS these days.

Lakers making the Finals against if they trade Odom? Naw.

Portland, NO, and Utah are definately going to get in their way.

they would get something good in return, rumour has it LA may be going after artest. odom has skill but no intensity. maybe i just hate him after seeing him laugh and mess around on the court in game 4 like they had the series sealed against boston. you don't do that in the finals! i wanted to extend my open palm through the tv and slap him.

Didn't Turiaf only get a few minutes a game in the Celtics series?

With Bynum coming back, that time will only go down.

Turiaf's an energy player.

They have already got signed haven't they?

As for the Raptors, the trade for Oneil and some other guy is finally done and I don't think Raptors gave away their First Round Draft Pick but instead gave a few players away... If I remember correctly.

Peja could play SG and Posey would play Forward, or Posey would start at SG instead of Mo Peterson.
