Well players like Shaq, or Duncan can prevent Howard from getting those 20-20 games, and limit him to at least a 16-10 game. Also, we have great shooters, so we don't need anymore of that. We needed to get to the foul line more, and we started attacking Howard too late in the game. He was in foul trouble, but we should have gotten him in foul trouble much earlier.

Yes, and Brezec hasn't been played much, but he could have been played on Howard during the series.

Delfino has been a good addition, and has proven to be a great sixth man.

Other than that, maybe the Hornets.

A complete team knows how to play basketball on the road.

Teams with the best chance of stopping Los Angeles Lakers:
1. San Antonio Spurs

Bruce Bowen neutralizes Kobe Bryant and can outscore him, while Tim Duncan and Kurt Thomas are some of the best defenders to take on Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum. Lamar Odom will remain the wild card though, although some long Spurs players might be able to contain him as they will Luke Walton.

2. Boston Celtics

James Posey and Paul Pierce is a formidable defensive combination for Kobe Bryant. Kevin Garnett, Kendrick Perkins, and even Glen Davis are good defenders as well. They're possibly the only team deeper.

3. Phoenix Suns

Lakers defense isn't very good and this team can simply outscore them and oust them in the playoffs yet again, if they don't get ousted first.

4. Detroit Pistons

5. Cleveland Cavaliers

LeBron James always takes it to Kobe Bryant and the Cavs don't usually have a problem with the Lakers.

6. New Orleans Hornets

Chris Paul > Derek Fisher. Tyson Chandler completely owns Pau Gasol, look for single-digit scoring from him. Kobe Bryant is great against Hornets though and Hornets bench can't keep up with Lakers bench.

Lakers really don't have specific weaknesses for a team though.

Spurs offense doesn't need to be good. Lakers defense isn't good. Spurs offense has been good in the playoffs though. Everybody's been playing well except Robert Horry.

Lakers were the team that broke an amazing home win streak for the Jazz also.

SA has an efficient offense, it doesn't score alot, but it scores on a high percentage of their possessions. They're practically the opposite of the Nuggets, so I don't see why they wouldn't be able to push LA to a 7 game season, or even take the series.

The Spurs and the Pistons are actually very similar teams.

But, Spurs are the champs, and they show up every night. Meanwhile, Chauncey Billups always takes 3 weeks off after the regular season.
