Byron Scott is the New Orleans coach and Chris Paul plays for New Orleans. Coaches are not permitted to choose their own players.

However, I think Chris Paul is finally getting enough support to be picked.

My All-Star Reserve Picks

East

G | Ray Allen
G | Chauncey Billups
F | Caron Butler
F | Antawn Jamison
F | Chris Bosh
F | Paul Pierce
C | Zydrunas Ilgauskas

West

G | Chris Paul
G | Baron Davis
G | Steve Nash
G | Tracy McGrady
F | Carlos Boozer
F | Dirk Nowitzki
C | Amare Stoudamire

Snubs: Chris Kaman, Al Jefferson, Brandon Roy, Manu Ginobli

The Miami Heat have always been a joke.

Miami was always a joke. And now they're an even bigger joke with the 15 game losing streak.

Well, they have been playing pretty bad lately, but they'll get back on track.

PG eh, in pure scoring, AI easily, but Kidd has better passing, rebounding, etc.
The west has the advantage in terms of reserves. I think that Steve Nash should have started.

I don't even watch the allstar game it usually seems to be a joke just trying to show off offensive skills most the game. I for once would like to see a legitamately hard fought game.

The point of the all star game, and the all star weekend is just to have a good time and relax, and have fun. That's why people don't take it seriously. For example: when last year Shaq was playing point guard and was doing crossovers, Carmelo was on the bench laughing. It's all just for fun!!

You know I have always felt that Shaq was underused at LA but as he got older in Miami he has lost some of his speed and ball handling skillz. I use to think he would make a darn good point center.

Or when in the 2006 All-Star game when O'Neal shot a THREE pointer at the end of the game.

Over AI and Kobe? Puhuhlease.

I'd start T-mac, Baron, and Chris Paul all before Nash.

Nash is so overated it's pathetic.

The Pistons were all, "get out of our building Orlando". I turned it off at half-time.

The Pistons were just pissed for losing 7 of the last 10, and Orlando felt the full of their wrath.

They were clicking on all cylinders, I've never seen them play like that before. It scared me a little bit.
