Ya, but the thing is, I come from places where sports are huge and there are a huge amount of jerseys, and I don't even see KG in the mall.

Don't worry sir they don't get cable in the batcave so he probably only sees the games that are broadcast over the radio.

The Miami Heat have never been of championship caliber.

Why do you hate him? He has the best PRA, PER, and ESPN rating. He's the best fourth-quarter player. He has the second-most triple-doubles, and he does it scoring several times more than 10-11 points per game. He leads the league in scoring; he is the defending Eastern Conference champion, and he's only 23. He's beaten the Celtics, Pistons, Spurs, Mavericks, Lakers, Raptors, and Magic this season and his team is on a 9-2 streak. He is the best player.

How much a player makes no difference.
LeBron gets calls in his favor because when he makes a good play, the ref gets caught up in it. Kobe on the other hand, is hated because of his talent.
Dwyane Wade is still clearly the most ref-made player. If popular players win, interest rises, so superstars tend to get more calls than other players. Wade is hardly a superstar though.

Article Jan 15 2008. Garnett Drives Sales of NBA Jerseys
Kevin Garnett has been fairly overrated this year, not based on this, because this is because of the trade, but by his all-star lead. He's probably barely better than Tim Duncan, and although his defense and leadership has increased, his scoring and rebounding has significantly decreased.

I have Dwyane Wade and Carmelo Anthony and I think they're very overrated, so those of you playing who don't who are interested in them, go ahead and try to trade for them please. And not with crap like Hinrich XD

That would be Kobe.

Oh, and if you noticed this season, especially last night during the game, Kobe is trying to get players involved as much as he possibly can, and that's murdering his stats, considering everytime one of them get the ball, they try to play 1 on 1 ball, and none of them are good enough to be doing that.

Um, no, don't sit here and try to make crap up. They havn't beat the Pistons, they havn't beat orlando, and they beat the spurs while the spurs are on a 6 game losing streak to winning teams.

And during the spurs game, if you watched it, he didn't win, the Refs did.

And they have a tieing, or losing record vs most of those teams.

About as much as LeBron.

Well, that generally happens when you go from a team where you're the only superstar, to a team where you're one of three superstars, and the rest of the team is somewhat decent.

LeBron James is averaging nearly double as many fourth-quarter points as Kobe Bryant.

As for the games won; sorry, my memory is flawed. Are you sure he didn't beat Orlando? LeBron gets his teammates involved when they are able to do something, rather than just randomly letting them try to make their own plays. And from his 8 assists per game and triple-doubles, it seems that it works. I didn't agree with a call or two in the Spurs game, but it didn't seem that reliant on the referees. Besides, LeBron scored 27-29 points on Bruce Bowen, someone Kobe averages something like 18 against.

Dwyane Wade is far more ref-made than LeBron. They gave him a championship! Half of Wade's signature moves (spin) are travels, and he probably got to the line an average of 7-8 times per fourth quarter in his championship playoffs. LeBron does get more calls than Kobe, partly because Kobe simply doesn't travel as much, being older and more experienced, but it's absolutely nothing compared to Wade.

That is true about Wade getting handed a championship lol. That was some really bad officiating that year.

Eh, the Mavs were just shorthanded with suspensions. >.>

The Mavs were up 2-0 before players started getting suspended.

Sorry, I already answered this.

Kobe has been trying to get his team involved as much as possible, in fact, until what was it, 2-3 minutes into the fourth quarter last night, Kobe only attempted 2 shots in the entire second half. This is lowering his stats ALOT.

He may have, but I'm pretty sure he didn't, I know he has played them at least once, and lost.

It was VERY reliant on the refs. One of the guys hit parker in the face on a layup, you know, something ANTONIO MCDYESS got a flagrant 2 for doing in the cavs-pistons matchup last year.
