Hmm putting MJ against anyone isn't really a good idea unless you're talking about Majic Johnson or Patrick Evrin or something like that i can't remember his name. and Abdul-Kareem-Jabar.

Kobe has a chance if he can win more titles. He already has 3....

kobe lost his supporting big man - shaq. Lakers need another large body to get things moving again, or at least a better supporting team to kobe that can create opportunities for him

and there are tons of other great players in the past.

Personally I would like to see Julius Erving vrs MJ both in their primes.

Lakers are on the upswing, that team is very young as a whole and is improving. They just need to get better on the road. Oh and once Kwame Brown and Odom come back that will help.
