It's called defense. Ever seen it been played the real way before? It is a "contact sport" which means contact is part of the game. Sure, like the suns have never fouled/hit the spurs hard.
MARION INTENTIONALLY POKED GINOBILI IN THE EYE SO HE COULDN'T SEE AS WELL. I hate caps.

Spurs > Suns
ANYTIME Raja Bell = Bruce Bowen on defense. Both are great defenders, play dirty, and flop a lot. Bell is better offensively though. Sure, the Suns might have won Game 5 and we would be looking at Game 7 right now, but throughout the games played, the Spurs overall played better. Obviously. Both teams played amazing last night. Duncan, Ginobli, and Parker each made 11 field goals. Stoudamire, Nash, Marion, Duncan, and Ginobli had double-doubles. Duncan nearly got a triple-double with his 9 blocks. The Spurs played amazing defense yet both teams were playing so well that this game still went far into triple-digits. Steve Nash and Amare Stoudamire each had 15 points in the 4th quarter and Michael Finley had 11. Nash got into the paint and rarely got the open basket or a good pass off, that's how good the Spurs defense was. Spurs forced 5 turnovers out of him, and many of them off intercepting his passes. Boris Diaw was useless and Tony Parker missed too many shots. They were near equal in field-goal percentage and they equaled in assists and rebounds. All 9 of Spurs' blocks were Duncan's. The main difference in this game I thought when I saw it was turnovers and steals. Spurs got possession more often, and with both teams shooting near-equal field-goal percentage, the team that shoots more has a better chance of scoring more. That's what happened. Spurs > Jazz in 6 games. Maybe 5. Seven, very unlikely. Spurs winning in 4 games is more likely than Jazz winning at all. Cavs > Pistons in 7 games. This one is going to be close though, Pistons have a very good chance of winning, especially if Tayshaun Prince is playing well. Cavs ftw! Spurs > Cavs in 6. If Pistons make it, Spurs > Pistons in 6.

Nooo!!! Poor Suns, I'm pretty bummed. It's not that I like them that much, but they got screwed by the suspensions...and spurs are crap.
EDIT: Cavs were the only team in the second round that I wanted to win that won...wow. |
