nec's right, if everyone had more respect and decency on these forums, we'd be more likely to post our pics here without fear of mega-flaming or having to defend ourselves with 10 foot long posts (unless ur absalom - then just arriba arriba ándale ándale sombrero)

and sheesh - this isn't snake's hot chick thread (no wonder its the most popular thread on the forums - shows the majority of the userbase and admins here are guys teen to mid age[mostly younguns])- let lil chick post a pic without all this chatter

this is a forum: there is more to foruming than flaming and take some lessons from omegashin - think before you post - although it would make things a little less crazy and interesting around here, it would make it more stable and mature- will it crush somebody, some little kid who thought a cookie golem was a good idea

now i know that sometimes we all crack a joke or feel the need to flame - thats deff ok (yang/gypsy :cool

and take manners off of ppl who have at least 10 rep or have been here without spammy posts for a while (or have bannana riding llamas as the avy)

is it really that tough to be nice to a person when they take the time to show you what they look like- how would you like it if we all criticized the physical aspects of your picture that you cant change, how would you like that

You hit the nail right on the head, and I think I'll reword this so it makes blunt sense.
There is absolutely no way that you would go up toa random woman on the street and insult her appearance directly to her, and this is the equivilent.
Sure she may not be the best looking right now, but hell she is only 14 and has much more maturing to do. Tell me just how many people look great and like an adult when they are 14? You shouldn't be too concerned about your appearance at that point in life anyways, being a kid is a blast and it is for enjoying. I hope she gets really hot and finds you somewhere online later and owns you with a picture.
To be honest she looks about 10 in that picture, the 5 was a joke.

I would also agree that putting your picture up here, when the majority of the users are horny guys going through puberty, is hard but at the same time if your putting it on display, there will always be negative remarks. I'm not saying that everyone should be assholes, nowhere close to that, but sometimes people should keep their mouths shut, or not be so full of themselfs and have the urge to feed their ego.

Grow up, it's a forum, show some respect

I show flashes of it at times when ladies are around, but you know how Nomar and I get. That is all in good fun though.

You gotta take pride in your appearence and when you look in the mirror strop trying to find the stuff you don't like about yourself. Beleive me I used to do that and I had a hard time in school because of it. Now I'm over it and I'm as popular as ever...at least at my school. :]

So, I went back to see lil_chick's picture to see what all the fuss is about. It's not there anymore (edited out). Post it again, girl! By taking it off, the only thing you're doing is degrading yourself. You should be proud of what you look like. It's attitude that makes a person beautiful. Ever hear of "beauty is in the eye of the beholder?" Tell yourself that you look good and act like it. Then other people will think the same thing. Hold your head high and don't let a bunch of immature teens/pre-teens hold you down and butcher your self-image.

In grade school, I was the dork and the teacher's kid. I never had any friends. I let it get to me, and other's knew it. When I moved off to college, I decided that I wanted to just be myself, and not try to live up to other people's standards. Now people respect me. People listen to me. They value my opinion. I'm very humble about it, and I don't like to brag (everyone here can tell you that). But I'd bet you'd be hard-pressed to find someone on these forums who doesn't respect me. LIKE me may be a different matter, because I don't take any crap from people. But they DO respect me. Respect yourself and others will follow suit.

Now, put your chin up and repost that picture!
