Decent back muscles too. Big lats, I assume from rowing.

I find cross trainers boring.

Yeah... My lats pwn from rowing. Most people have a hard time getting them because they can't do pull ups. For erg sprints I basically just use my lats and arms as fast as I possibly can because my legs and weight are puny in comparison to most rowers. The leg thing probably stems from the fact that I usually drive off my toes rather than my heals. Toes = calves (sp?lol) Heels = Hamstrings.

Rowing machines are pretty boring. I try to pay as little attention as possible to the things when I'm on them. Just like.. prolongs the suffering.

Yeah, it's similar when running, in terms of muscle development.
