Errr. E: Drive ? Hey everyone, I am back ^.^

I have actually been playing more and more TAO in my Main acct, the past few days and am thinking about returning. However I had some thing, I needed help with:

I am trying to download an E

rive for my Dell Laptop since my D

rive cannot detect USB for my PSP. When I went to the manufacture site for driver downloads, I got TONS of different types of drivers such as: Blos, Internal...? , Network.....

My question to a beautiful genius is what is the driver type I would need to update?

My problem is like lot of those in that forums, I can plug the PSP and connect with it in my PC, but not in my laptop. When I connect it, it sees their is a USB connection but never detects the PSP and stuff like Open Folder and so

Welcome back bro, not quite sure how to answer that myself. Seems admins got it, yea RD will always go technical so no real need to worry about that.

D and E drives are typically for the optical drive...odd that that would be the usb connector. (A is reserved for Floppy disk drives, C is hard drive, D is optical drive, E is occasionally a cd/rw drive on desktops, USB ports are the rest.

I don't have a PSP, but there probably some kind of software that proceeds connecting the device to the computer that you have installed on desktop but not laptop.

The drive letter itself is irrelevant of sorts - they don't require different drivers. If your computer is missing a USB driver, Dell has a site that gives drivers by computer model at Dell Drivers and Downloads
Also, if one drive doesn't work, the vast majority of laptops have at least 2 usb drives - plug it in to a different physical port may work.
