I have joined.

I would prefer that a live draft not be used, but I'll try to be online for it. I think pre-draft rankings are better, considering that I think only 2-3 members actually participated for last season's live draft.

I found a "Pre-Rank Players" option for me; perhaps it will automatically work even for the live draft?

Yes.

Live drafts are always better than pre-draft/autopick rankings because you can either pre-rank your players or attend the draft..whichever.
