Well, last night I had to go to the city to take some family pictures, and my mom went to help my older brothers problem, which is trying to get this months rent, safety deposit, extra money for clothes that were ruined, money for his girlfriend's health problem.

So, anyways, there is black mold in my older brother's house. And the landlord, who is a complete idiot, isn't given the money (explained above). There was a written and signed agreement that said that today, they would get their money back, by midnight. But as we were talking to the landlord, who is from China, he said that the it had to be cleaned just as well, or better than before they moved in. One problem; there wasn't a walkthrough before they moved in, or atleast no written proof of one. He kept complaining of smelling, and feeling cat urine in the rugs. Yet he couldn't smell the black mold that had been there for two months! Are you sure that it was their cat though? I mean, the other 6 people who have lived there in the past have had cats. He had them get rid of the cat over three months ago, yet he can still smell and feel urine, even though we had the carpet cleaned.
We say that the house is completly clean, much cleaner than when they moved in, which it was. So he takes a filthy brush, rubs it against the entire carpet, doesn't find jack. So he goes to the other room with carpet, searches the entire room, finds around 5-6 cat hairs in the very corner of a closet. "It not clean". So my mom starts censored at him, and he says; "I can't understand. You speak too fast." So my mom slow downs while speaking. Shortly after, he says "I don't feel safe right now. Too many people". So me and my twin brother leave. The only person I would have been scared of would have been my mother, she was eating him alive. And had already cost him over $600. So he keeps going on about the cat urine, even though we couldn't smell it. But for some reason, he could never smell the black mold that was proven to be there. So they keep arguing, he said that he wanted the keys, we said we wanted the rent. At this point I couldn't hear anymore because I had to leave, but when my mom came out, she didn't get the cash. So we are heading to court, trying to get new clothes, a new bed, all medication for his girlfriend paid for by him, since the mold caused it, the rent, damage deposement. It going to cost him several thousand dollars. Costs us $20 to take him to court. We have audio of him talking, pictures of the house, tons of document. He's screwed.

I didn't get a picture of the wall covered with black mold, or the rest of the bathroom, but I can tell you this. He should have been paying them to stay there, and he's basicly going to be soon.

Srsly, you can't reason with AZN land lords. They grew up in unfair societies, so they know how to deal with you better than you dealing with them. Yeah, deal with it or sue him.
