LF Crashes my Computer
It happened like, 8 times over 2 days about a week ago. Then it stopped. It would just crash and I'd have to restart. So I've been good up until today, when I got blue screen'd twice. I can do anything, but I go on LF and like, 3 minutes later my computer go boom.
Make it better D: PS, its only on Windows. If I go on mac, its fine |

Try firefox
if you still crash then its not just IE you also said in the shoutbox that your hard drive is full - BAD BAD BAD - leave at LEAST a gig free for temporary files otherwise crashes are likely! Again, it is likely not LF that is crashing your computer but rather something else like a virus or such that is affecting the web browser. STEP 1) open IE in no-addons mode (ie7). This can be found in start: programs: accessories: system tools: IE 7 (no addons mode) Surf in this for a while, note if you still crash. If not, then you likely have issues. STEP 2) if step 1 does not crash any longer Enable your addons one by one (its in the menu up top, hit alt to display the menu bar up top in IE 7). Surf for a bit after enabling each one. Start with the known ones, then move on to the ones you don't recognize. AOL Toolbar is a possible culprit - so uninstall that. step 2 can also be aided by Spybot Search and Destroy which has an Active X utility and BHO (browser help object - addons) utility. Step 3 - this should be step 1, but o well - RUN A VIRUS SCAN!!!!! STEP INFINITY: Get firefox ![]() |
