Everyone knows porn is the most present and watched thing on the internet. It produces billions of dollars yearly and yet it's still a subject people try to avoid. Sure some people talk about sex here and there, but not as openly as what some of those may be watching online. A reason for being so shy about porn seems to be the social pressure. Those openly talking about porn are "perverts". Yet ads are hypersexualized, because even if we try not to talk about it, we all think about it. A guy tells a girl "damn you're hot! I'd do all your holes then cream your face and i'd die happy". For saying this the guy could almost go to jail. Thing is, alot if not most men THINK the exact same thing. Why would one of the few things common to every person in the world be so taboo?

Why is everyone thinking about sex? Obviously, the first reason that comes to mind is the physical need. Some can deny it, but everyone HAS a sexual need at some level. Wether its frequently, sometimes or rarely, it still happens. That being said, some sexual desires could be considered morally wrong. Like doing animals or dead corpses. If we are to accept porn in our everyday lives, where would the line between right and wrong be? Is sucking on 10 different males morally wrong? Is doing 2 different females acceptable? Should there even be a line?

My main point is, these things are not talked about enough. Sure we've made progress over the past 50 years or so, but everyone still keeps his porn habits to themselves.

Firstly, your questions in the second paragraph mainly depend on the persons back round regarding how solid their moral and religious beliefs are, as well as how they grew up understanding the world and society today. Although for the most part I would hope the general populas has got the same general idea of the border line of no-no's.

For the same reason that although most people have faith in higher beings and afterlife, people find it unusual and sometimes scary to see people practice and worshiping their god(s) in an airport right before their plane leaves. Means a little different to different people.
