Mac Problems

I got a mac laptop problem. It's a mac book.

Problem: I installed the first disc of tiger and I do not have the second. It keeps asking for the second disc but I don't have it. I now have Leopard and I just want to put that on and take off tiger. How do I take it off.

I suppose you need to wipe the memory and then install Leopard. I'm not exactly sure how to do that. If anything, take it to a Mac store, or go online and ask in the Apple Forums.

EDIT: Is the Leopard software an 'upgrade' disk, or just the regular Leopard disk? If it's an 'upgrade to Leopard', all you should have to do is put the disk in and install the upgrade.

if tiger isn't correctly installed, than you won't be able to do the normal upgrade process to leopard

installing leopard from scratch *should* do it, otherwise you can always find a torrented version of tiger to install to upgrade or find your favorite folks at the apple store and talk them into installing it (the i bought it now fix it approach)
