On a more serious note.. The FarEast is getting a lot of irregular seismic activity lately... the tsunami in somalia, and all that ... other bad stuff.
It's obviously not a good sign.

Tsunamis, typhoons, monsoons, earthquakes, mud slides, etc. Asia gets a beating with natural disasters.

there are quakes along old/shallow fault lines all over the USA, for example the Illinois earthquake.

NJDEP - New Jersey Geological Survey - Earthquake Risk in New Jersey

magnitudes above 6 have been on the east coast, notably nj/ny
