Holy heck.

Okay, so I share a room with my 13 year old brother. His iPod was on top of our TV, for a long time. Well, yesterday it wasn't there. He never listens to it, but evidently he got a Christmas gift that has something to do with an iPod.

So, before we leave to go to my grandmothers house, we all (Me, my brother, and a 7-year-old brother.) all look for it. We find nothing.

Later on, the whole family spend three hours turning the house upside down looking for it. We go through every crevice and surprise -- not here. So then we assume that maybe it got thrown away. I personally dug through three bags of trash looking for it. Nothing.

So, after all this, my stepmom tells us Christmas is "canceled" for us until someone says something about the iPod.

Now, boo-hoo, no presents for me. But who I really feel sorry for is Carson, my brother, who now has nothing to look forward to tomorrow (blah blah, family. He's seven.)

Not to mention: Carson and I have nothing to do with his iPod, yet we get no gifts.

Usually when kids complain about stuff their parents do, its just whiny nonsense. This case however, she was being kinda stupid.

Is your stepmum the kind of person that would follow through on such a threat?

I have a slightly less alarming problem: I have just found out that my brother has got my parents the same present as I did. Panic time.

Write a poem. Moms love that sort of thing, then get explain what happened, and get her present. Or cut your hair, or do something you is constantly bugging you about. Every mom bugs her son about something, "When are you going to..." and do what she wants you to.

Did you check behind the television? It could have got knocked off. Did your brother check his coat pockets? He could have put in there on his way to your grandmothers if he knew that he was getting a gift for it. It's got to be somewhere as it's highly unlikely that someone came through your window while you were not looking and stole it.
