Maybe with the consent of both people involved. I would be very angry if someone posted one of my PMs to them in public. Just because you think the content is stupid, it doesn't change the fact that it's a private message.

Why don't we take this into the mod lounge again?

I guarantee if I posted a PM from a staff member that they might have said something they regret, it would either be altered, locked, or deleted. I feel PM's should be kept to the purpose they were made for, what what can you expect at the same time.
