Forum Battle System -Rate-

All right, in another forum there is a contest to make a good forum battling system, as a side-game type thing. Here's my idea.

There are six main stats that contribute to your fight:

Stats and Uses:

Strength
Determines the base damage to add on to your weapon. For every one point invested, you get +2 attack damage. Knight's main stat.

Agility
Determines defense and speed. Whoever has the highest agility goes first in attacking, and may even attack twice if Agility is high enough. For every one point invested, you gain +2 speed and +2 defense. Ninja's main stat.

Intelligence
Determines the amount of magic that can be used, along with the damage dealt by such attacks. For every one point invested, you gain five Magic Points and +2 magic attack damage. Mage's main stat.

Constitution
Determines health, the amount of HP you can take before dying. For every one point you invest, you gain 8 Health Points. Mixed stats, mainly Knight.

Limit Break
Determines what stats you need in order to perform your strongest attack: Limit Break. For every point invested, you must have two less HP and two less MP. Useful for anyone, mainly at higher levels.

Every level you gain, you may invest five points in any section, or you may save them.

Classes and Alignments:

There are four base classes: Knight, Mage, Thief, Tehran

Knight excells in combat with a weapon. He brings order to the world through steely objects. Do not underestimate the power of steel through your body.

Knight Base Stats:
STR: 10
AGI: 5
INT: 5
CON: 10
LIMIT: 0
Class Upgrades, Level 20: Dark Knight | Paladin


Mages are avid magic users, who can cast you away with a flick of the wrist. However, without mana, they are as useful as a bricked PSP.

Mage Base Stats:
STR: 5
AGI: 5
INT: 15
CON: 5
LIMIT: 0
Class Upgrades, Level 20: Black Mage | White Mage

Thieves are the survivors of the street. They're as cunning as a fox, and as quick as one too. You wont last long with one of these behind you.

Thief Base Stats:
STR: 5
AGI: 10
INT: 10
CON: 5
LIMIT: 0
Class Upgrades, Level 20: Ninja | Dragoon

Tehrans are mystical creatures hailing from the very origins of our planet. They have mystical, though unreliable attacks.

Tehran Base Stats:
STR: 0
AGI: 0
INT: 0
CON: 0
LIMIT: 0
Class Upgrades, Level 20: ???

Battling NPCs:

AGI determines who goes first. From there, the user has these options:

Attack > (Enemy Name & Number)
Magic > (Spells) > (Enemy Name & Number, if Applicable)
Item > (Concoction) > (Use on who?)
Skip Turn
Run

Attack uses your damage range to do a damage amount to an enemy.
Magic allows you to pick a spell. You lose MP for casting.
Item allows you to use an item.
Skip Turn and Run are obvious.

Now, here's the kicker: Doing it on a forum.

Whenever you have a weapon, it has a TQ, or Typing Quality. This determines the amount of sentences your attack is allowed to have. Fists have TQ2, while the Sword of Valor has TQ99.

The better you describe how you attack, the better your damage will be.

Example battle time!

Orion @ Level 99: 200 STR, 200 AGI, 200 INT, 200 CON, 200 LIMIT
vs.
Rat @ Level 1: 5 STR, 5 AGI, 0 INT, 5 CON, 0 LIMIT

Orion is first!

Orion entered the dungeon, only to be faced by a miniscule rat. These might have posed a challenge, say, 50 years ago, but they are cake now. Here glares it in the eyes, seeing that it is near ready to attack. It lunges forward, and with a quick dodge and an even quicker slash, it is within pieces.

Damage: 500-900

Shopping and Equipping:

When enough GP is accumulated, one may go shop for supplies. Depending on your level different items are available: A level one might find a miniscule dagger, while a level 80 may find a Soulreaper Blade.

Your basic weapon has three things:
AVGDMG (Average damage. Minimum damage and maximum damage are both increased by your STR x2.
LIMIT% (The percent chance a Limit Break will occur if you have the neccessary stats.
STRREQ (The amount of STR necessary to wield weapon)

Armor is the same.
