Cosmic Mage
HP: 38
Armor: -- Blocking: 55% Movement: 3 Power: 24 unblockable Range: 4 no LOS Recovery: 3 (if he moves), 2 (if he doesnt move) Attack Style: He is like the LW but he can move 3 spaces and he has 4 range, he attacks 1 space within 4 spaces. When he attacks he calls a comet to hit a space withing 4 spaces. Strategy: His range is 4 so it cannot get a cheap cleric kill if there are units on the frontline (like knights). This unit is for golds only so i would use it behind my frontline in the corner with a dragon nearby so i could do some serious damage (like hiting a scout with your dragon, then your opponent heals, then you hit the scout with the cosmic mage and the scouts dead, then your frosty will be almost unstopable). I would also keep him near the back because of his low HP. pros: moveable, high attack, pretty high blocking. cons: no armor, low HP, long recovery time, can be killed by LW Last edited by †ormen†; 05-03-2007 at 12:41 PM. |

At least some1 has the sense to list pros and cons.
idk tho.. i dont see it being a great attacking unit, kinda like the zerker. Could be used for defense. 7/10

I really like this unit, but is its attack pattern like the DMW's, or is it like you choose one square in a 4 square radius, or do you choose within 4 space row (like the DMW) one space to attack? I'm guessing one of the last 2.
7\10 for another high damage mage unit.

Yes, that is why I suggested maybe limiting this somehow in where there can only be a LW on the field OR one of these Cosmic Mages. It is a bit overpowered, yes. It also dies easily and has a very long recovery time. Like you mentioned, it would be great defensively, but so is a LW, but LW can't move.
I wouldn't want to see this as a unit, at least with the current description. It's a different idea though.
