Cosmic Mage

HP: 38
Armor: --
Blocking: 55%
Movement: 3
Power: 24 unblockable
Range: 4 no LOS
Recovery: 3 (if he moves), 2 (if he doesnt move)

Attack Style: He is like the LW but he can move 3 spaces and he has 4 range, he attacks 1 space within 4 spaces. When he attacks he calls a comet to hit a space withing 4 spaces.

Strategy: His range is 4 so it cannot get a cheap cleric kill if there are units on the frontline (like knights). This unit is for golds only so i would use it behind my frontline in the corner with a dragon nearby so i could do some serious damage (like hiting a scout with your dragon, then your opponent heals, then you hit the scout with the cosmic mage and the scouts dead, then your frosty will be almost unstopable). I would also keep him near the back because of his low HP.

pros: moveable, high attack, pretty high blocking.
cons: no armor, low HP, long recovery time, can be killed by LW

At least some1 has the sense to list pros and cons.

idk tho.. i dont see it being a great attacking unit, kinda like the zerker. Could be used for defense.

I'm not sure the game needs another source of 27+ damage, but meh, I'm too lazy to do anything with this thread or even write a proper review.

I really like this unit, but is its attack pattern like the DMW's, or is it like you choose one square in a 4 square radius, or do you choose within 4 space row (like the DMW) one space to attack? I'm guessing one of the last 2.

7\10 for another high damage mage unit.

Maybe if there was a way to make it so you can only have that OR a lightning ward. That might make it a little bit more balanced. Alright idea. Just a suggestion, I say you think your units out a lot more than you seem to be. Like you did, make a pros and cons list. Think about how it can be used in games and think if it brings balance or unbalance to the game. It seems as though you think of a cool idea and are rushing to get it out. If you take the time to revise it I'm sure the outcome would be much better.

My main problem is that it's another mobile source of massive damage. Plus with no los you can hide this behind a knight wall easily. I honestly think this is too strong for defensive reasons, though I am sure it would be used mainly offensively by idiots.
Defensively it's rape, and it would be really strong in same side turt match ups.

LW+CM+DT. That's 28+ power on 3 consecutive turns, a regular house of pain.

Yes, that is why I suggested maybe limiting this somehow in where there can only be a LW on the field OR one of these Cosmic Mages. It is a bit overpowered, yes. It also dies easily and has a very long recovery time. Like you mentioned, it would be great defensively, but so is a LW, but LW can't move. I wouldn't want to see this as a unit, at least with the current description. It's a different idea though.
